Another youth-led initiative coordinated by ECO Singapore
Friday, March 14, 2008What YOU can do: CorporatesYou can work out something in your company with the following:1. Send an email out to your employees and clients (Click here for a template) 2. Include the short video of Earth Hour in the email or you can just post this link (Video download at http://youtube.com/watch?v=mxu3MluKl8A ) 3. Remind the employees to turn off the lights for an hour on 28th March 2008 (Friday) 4. Put up the Earth Hour posters around office area (Posters download at http://www.earthhour.org/pdfs/WWF0089_EarthHour_A3.pdf) 5. Encourage taking pictures of themselves holding the Earth Hour poster (as attached above) or show them in action putting up these posters at various places as a sign of support. Afterwhich, send us the pictures and we will upload it on the Earth hour Singapore Blog we have created. 6. Encourage doing of a short video with a handphone camera on the following suggested topics: - What is Global Warming? - Why do you support Earth Hour? - Students in Action! - My Tips on Global Warming Upload it on http://www.youtube.com and drop us a link so we will upload it online on the blog. This will, in all, bring across the message of Earth Hour from those supporting this campaign, and also means to involve your employees to carry out the above stated simple actions to combat global warming. A Corporate Social Responsibility involvement of your organisation. And should your company be interested, to be part of this movement, we hope to recognize your efforts and send us your logo so we can put it on this blog. — volunteer coordinator |
